Akari Power Chargers acquire veteran spiker Tin Tiamzon

THE Akari Power Chargers have added veteran wing spiker Tin Tiamzon with hopes of completing the piece of the puzzle of the PVL championship they have vigorously craved.
“A steady presence and a reliable force on the court,” said the team on social media on Sunday.
Ms. Tiamzon joined several others who found a new home after being orphaned by the Cignal Super Spikers, who went on an indefinite leave.
Former teammates Vanie Gandler and Erika Santos went to Capital1, Erin Pangilinan to Creamline, and Gel Cayuna and Jackie Acuña to Nxled.
Ms. Tiamzon will be a big addition to a squad already loaded with talent in Ivy Lacsina, Fifi Sharma, Grethcel Soltones, Ced Domingo, Faith Nisperos, Eli Soyud, Justine Jazareno and Mars Alba.
The franchise is also hopeful her addition would finally land its breakthrough championship starting next month’s PVL on Tour. — Joey Villar
