3 deaths, nearly 300,000 persons affected due to Tropical Storm Noul

Fatalities reached three due to the effects of Tropical Storm Noul, locally named Kiyapo, while affected individuals climbed to nearly 300,000, according to the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) on Monday.
Sarangani reported two deaths, both of which are under validation, while one fatality was reported in Davao, Diego Augustin Mariano, OCD deputy spokesperson told reporters via Viber, citing data as of 6:00 a.m.
A missing individual was also reported in Sarangani.
Meanwhile, affected individuals due to Tropical Storm Noul climbed to 295,066, translating to 63,606 affected families. Of the total affected individuals, 7,550 are taking shelter across 31 evacuation centers.
Damaged houses reached 671, with 425 reported as partially damaged and 246 reported as totally damaged.
Mr. Mariano said that over P10 million worth of assistance has already been provided to affected families. — Edg Adrian A. Eva
